Smart tech for Aging

While there are hundreds of Smart devices for home and safety, some are especially suited for  seniors allowing them to remain independent in their homes longer. Smart lights and plugs, indoor and outdoor cameras, appliances that feature automatic shut off and self cleaning, stove monitors, robot vacuums, motion sensors, trackers, faucets, ceiling fans, thermostats, smoke detectors, contact sensors and door locks are a few of the easy to use, generally available technology that can enhance an elderly loved one's safety and security.

Assistants like Google Home and Amazon Alexa offer amazing, easy to use, technology for seniors.  High quality video display and speakers makes  calling and receiving calls from family and friends simple.  They can announce reminders for appointments, medications, and other upcoming events.  With the addition of subscription offerings, assistants can call for help when requested, read favorite books out loud, and find and play music from any generation.  Custom routines allow the assistants to perform multiple tasks from most smart devices with a single  voice request.
